Indigenous Health

Shared Health Indigenous Health is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Indigenous peoples through the advancement of priority initiatives, and expanded awareness, access, and knowledge of Indigenous health Services across Manitoba.

Shared Health also leads and coordinates the Indigenous Health Network toward a shared goal of ensuring access and availability of culturally safe care and services for Indigenous peoples. With representation from throughout the province, the group works collaboratively across Manitoba’s health regions, identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships, create inclusive care environments and workspaces, and to improve health access, experiences and outcomes for Indigenous People.
