RL Patient Safety Event Reporting
RL is Shared Health’s provincial web-based incident reporting system that captures safety events and public feedback. Online reporting allows our health-care system to:
- Review incidents in real time
- Provide greater visibility to the safety events occurring
- Highlight opportunities for learning and system improvement
- Collect data that helps inform decision making
Having a provincial view allows us to link safety themes across Health Authorities, combine our efforts for improvement, and share our learnings to make health care safer for all Manitobans.
RL Provincial Rollout Project
Manitoba is set to introduce an updated software solution, called RL, aimed at enhancing the reporting and management of various safety aspects of patient care. RL is gradually being implemented in all health authorities.
