Patient Services

Indigenous Health plays a vital role in the development of high-quality, culturally-informed care. This encompasses both services and spaces, as work continues to ensure that Indigenous voices are heard and reflected in the design of new and improved programs, services and facilities.

Indigenous-focused and culturally sensitive services are currently available within Shared Health through Diagnostic Services, Renal Health and the Selkirk Mental Health Centre by their Indigenous Services team.

While the development of the Shared Health Indigenous Health team is ongoing, the following patient services within the Health Sciences Centre will continue to provided by members of the WRHA Indigenous Services team.

• Spiritual/Cultural Care
• Indigenous Medical Transportation Coverage
