Indigenous Health

Shared Health Indigenous Health is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Indigenous peoples through the advancement of Indigenous identified priority initiatives, and expanded awareness, access, and knowledge of Indigenous health services across Manitoba.

Our team works with programs, facilities and teams in Manitoba’s regional health authorities and CancerCare Manitoba to develop coordinated patient services, staff education, and improve access to culturally-safe care environments and workspaces.

Shared Health also leads and coordinates the Indigenous Health Network toward a shared goal of ensuring access and availability of culturally safe care and services for Indigenous peoples.
