Measuring Racism not Race: the Collection of Race, Ethnicity and Indigenous Identifiers in Manitoba’s Hospitals
On May 11, 2023 the province of Manitoba began collecting race, ethnicity and Indigenous identity (REI) data when patients access care in hospitals. Racism is a threat to patient and staff safety, and in this webinar, Dr. Marcia Anderson will explore the reasons why we are collecting this important data, and what we are hoping to achieve.
