Winners of CHI’s 2020 Preparing for Research by Engaging Patient & Public Partners Award share their story and the importance of considering an appropriate approach for involving persons with lived experience. Key lessons will be shared as well as a brief training module that will challenge our thinking about the structures and interactions experienced by individuals who are facing homelessness and social/medical vulnerability, with implications for integrating into health research and services.
