Session Structure

  • Sessions are accredited with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Section 1) and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (Section 1) – pending
  • Online registration opens in January 2025 (no fee)
  • Open registration. Join us for all eight sessions, or on a session by session basis
  • Schedule: Feb. 12 to May 21, 2025 (held on Wednesday)
  • Sessions held from 8 to 9:15 p.m.
  • Attendees will receive a certificate of completion
  • Computer connected to the internet or Wi-Fi enabled device, preferably with a webcam, required
  • Participants must answer meeting registration questions before admission to each Zoom session for attendance purposes

What to Expect

  • The sessions will review evidence-based assessment and treatment recommendations for primary care providers managing mental health disorders in rural areas, as well as review available resources for emergency and non-emergency consultation/treatment.
  • Includes a didactic presentation and case-based discussions with an expert panel. Please send scenario and case-based questions in advance to [email protected] to be selected for discussion during the session.
