Audience
- Medical practitioners (MDs, NPs, PAs, residents) working in rural/northern settings (i.e., all RHAs other than WRHA)
Session Structure
- Sessions are accredited with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (Section 1) and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (Section 1) – pending
- Online registration opens in January 2025 (no fee)
- Open registration. Join us for all eight sessions, or on a session by session basis
- Schedule: Feb. 12 to May 21, 2025 (held on Wednesday)
- Sessions held from 8 to 9:15 p.m.
- Attendees will receive a certificate of completion
- Computer connected to the internet or Wi-Fi enabled device, preferably with a webcam, required
- Participants must answer meeting registration questions before admission to each Zoom session for attendance purposes

What to Expect
- The sessions will review evidence-based assessment and treatment recommendations for primary care providers managing mental health disorders in rural areas, as well as review available resources for emergency and non-emergency consultation/treatment.
