Surgical Waitlist Information Management

The Surgical Waitlist Information Management (SWIM) service is a third-party, cloud-based solution that supports the tracking and prioritization of patients waiting for surgical consultation, the clinical prioritization of waiting surgical patients, and the electronic submission of booking requests and supporting documentation to the hospital Operating Room (OR) and Pre-Admission/Pre-Assessment Clinics (PAC). This service manages the flow of information between surgeon offices and surgical sites by clinicians and clerical staff.
