Dr. Amanda Condon
Dr. Amanda Condon is department head – family medicine, Max Rady College of Medicine, and provincial specialty lead, family medicine, Shared Health. Dr. Condon is a graduate of the University of Manitoba, where she earned both her bachelor of science in medicine and her doctor of medicine in 2006. She completed her residency in the bilingual family medicine program at UM in 2008.
Dr. Condon joined the faculty at UM as an assistant professor in the department of family medicine in 2016, attaining the rank of associate professor in 2021. She became the associate dean of student affairs and wellness for postgraduate medical education in the Max Rady College of Medicine in 2019. Her past leadership positions within the college include – undergraduate director – department of family medicine, interprofessional education lead and undergraduate quality improvement coordinator.
In 2022, Dr. Condon became an associate with the Manitoba Primary Care Research Network. She has been a board director for the College of Family Physicians of Canada since 2021. Dr. Condon has been practicing comprehensive family medicine since 2008. She practiced in Winnipeg for 13 years and has been working in Notre Dame de Lourdes, Man. since 2021. She has held several leadership roles within clinical practice and has served as co site medical lead for ACCESS River East and ACCESS Transcona, and site medical lead for ACCESS Winnipeg West. She is currently the chief of staff for Notre Dame de Lourdes/St. Claude/ Swan Lake/Pembina-Manitou.
