Our Watch List of top technologies and issues is back for another year. Unveiled annually, this report examines emerging technologies and issues that have potential to shape the future of health care in Canada.
The theme of this year’s Watch List is artificial intelligence (AI), an often-suggested solution to tackle issues faced by Canadian health care systems and to revolutionize health care delivery. AI is expected to affect all aspects of the system, from public health planning and disease diagnosis and prognosis to clinical documentation and other administrative processes. The 2025 Watch List will spotlight the top 5 AI technologies and the top 5 issues that may arise with their implementation.
