Pallium Canada’s Learning Essential Approaches to Palliative Care
Upcoming education: Pallium Canada’s Learning Essential Approaches to Palliative Care, LEAP Core (ONLINE). This course focuses on the essential competencies to provide a palliative care approach and is appropriate for interdisciplinary health care providers working across areas (home care, long term care, acute care, etc.)
LEAP Core (online) consist of 17 self-learning and online modules completed at your own pace (approximately 8 hours of work). There is also a facilitated webinar portion that is approximately 6 hours (split over two days) which you must be present for the entire time. The webinar portion will be on April 25th 9:00AM to 12:00PM and April 26th 9:00AM to 12:00PM

You will be provided with further instructions including your enrollment key.
Please register early as seats are limited and participants must complete all online self-learning modules prior to attending the facilitated webinars. Registration deadline: April 12th, 2024
WHO IS IT FOR?
LEAP Core (online) is ideal for any health care professional (e.g., physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, etc.) whose primary focus of work is not palliative care but who provides care for patients with life threatening and progressive life-limiting illnesses. This could be providers working in home care, long term care, etc.
