Re-Entry Planning for Evacuated Communities
We understand the desire for people and communities to return home, which is why teams and organizations across the province are working together to ensure this can happen as soon as is possible for each community.
We are in constant communication with Manitoba’s Emergency Management Organization, Manitoba Wildfire Services, the Ministry of Health, and leadership from communities in our region to ensure we know when it is safe to re-enter an evacuated community.
We are also actively working on re-entry plans for each evacuated community, which involves the facility infrastructure, infection prevention standards, and staffing sustainability. Shared Health Emergency Medical Service teams and other partners are also actively working on these re-entry plans.
