Suicide Prevention: Safety and Mitigation Within Healthcare Settings is Manitoba’s provincial clinical policy guiding how all Health Authorities work together to provide safer, timely, and evidence‑informed suicide‑prevention and intervention practices. This policy outlines expectations that meet Accreditation Canada standards for suicide risk screening, assessment, collaborative safety planning, environmental safety, and staff training across every care setting – from acute care to community programs.
