Hello, I’m Linde MacDiarmid. My background is in Sociology and Paramedicine, with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario and a Primary Care Paramedic diploma from Red River College. I have spent 13 years working in the healthcare field, including roles as a Patient Services Manager at Brandon Regional Health Centre, Manager Health Services – EMS Operations with Shared Health Emergency Response Services, Paramedic, and Crisis Worker. I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and maintain an active certificate of practice with the College of Paramedics of Manitoba.
Throughout my career, I’ve been passionate about fostering psychological safety, supporting mental health, and promoting holistic wellbeing for healthcare professionals. Through my experience supporting a wide range of populations and healthcare environments, I have developed a strong awareness of the complex and dynamic challenges healthcare professional’s encounter. I prioritize empathetic listening, clear communication, and a respectful, judgement-free approach in every interaction.
In my role as Wellbeing Leader I am committed to fostering an environment where every healthcare professional can access the tools, resources, and support they need to maintain their wellbeing.
