Kathy is the glue that holds the Oncology unit (and I’m sure her other units) together. She comes early, stays late, will even come in on the weekend to make sure that she has done what she can to assist in procuring staffing for the unit. She works so hard to make sure that staffing levels are appropriate and that she has called anyone available to come in. She always checks in with staff to see how they are doing and supports us by showing that she cares and appreciates us. Kathy Halischuk is one of a kind!!!
