Manager, Provincial Wellbeing, Shared Health

Hello, I’m Gayle Hryshko. My background is in social work, psychology, health services management, human resources management, and management development, and I’ve spent 22 years working in the health system in a leadership capacity, including workplace accommodations and return-to-work planning, OESH, and the provincial violence prevention program. Throughout my career I’ve been passionate about the opportunities to make our workplaces better for healthcare workers through improved health and safety, inclusiveness, and accessibility for all.

Having worked in the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, and now Shared Health, I bring an understanding of the unique challenges faced by healthcare workers, and the need to develop meaningful support systems for our staff. As the Manager, Provincial Wellbeing, my goal is to build on the work already completed in the department and be responsive to the needs of those who work in the health system so there is equitable service for all.
