Colleen is the most exceptional administrative professional I have ever worked with. She possesses the rare ability to predict needs before they arise, and she is always acting in proactive fashion to facilitate the activities of our section, and to make the lives of the physicians she works with easier. Colleen doesn’t need to wait to be asked to do something, but intervenes in advance. As one small example, she saw that I was always manually correcting a form I use routinely, and proceeded to make me a new version of that form so I would not need to continue making my corrections (I hadn’t even thought to ask for this). She has kindly agreed to take on extra work and physicians for our section. Her work ethic is unparalleled – we’re the only people I know who encourage our admin to work LESS (we’ve had to encourage her to stop checking her email on vacation!). She keeps exceptional records, reminds us of our own deadlines and rotating clinical responsibilities, and knows the answers to all questions (or where to find them). Even as a recent attendee for some mandatory training sessions, she reached out with some suggestions/corrections for an early presentation and ended up being recruited to help with the development of later sessions. There is truly no one more deserving of recognition for her excellence as an Administrative Professional.
