Colleen consistently demonstrates a commitment to excellence within DLC which continually serves to promote the best possible quality of care for our residents. Clerically, she performs numerous duties which are extremely essential to providing the best care for our residents. Just a few examples include: multiple consults & their necessary follow ups, processing, filing and updating health care records, health care schedules/worksheets and numerous other clerical duties. She is an avid advocate for change when current systems are inefficient or timely and seeks advice and input from multiple disciplines in order to create a strong voice for more functionally beneficial processes in our healthcare system. In addition, she navigates communications with multiple disciplines and largely advocates for residents by voicing observations and suggestions at staff meetings, among leadership and with direct care staff. She is super kind and helpful to all residents and staff who turn to her for valuable and insightful wisdom or even just a caring conversation. She is undoubtedly central to how all things flow here on the unit. We truly value all of her efforts here on Lodge 7 and hope she is chosen to be recognized for Administration highlight.
