Shared Health is excited to provide Lexidrug to all clinical staff across Manitoba. This clear, concise resource is designed to connect you to drug answers quickly and efficiently, providing you with timely and relevant drug information.
We encourage you to take advantage of this valuable resource.
Lexidrug gives you access to:
- Point-of-care drug information, including dosing, administration, warnings and precautions, as well as clinical practice guidelines and Clinical Insights from UpToDate, New FDA approvals and special alerts right on the home page
- In-depth databases for deeper research on topics such as pharmacogenomics, off-label drug uses, drug allergies, comparative efficacy, pregnancy/lactation, and more
- Medical calculators, drug interaction checker, drug ID tool, drug comparisons, and more clinical tools
- Patient education materials in up to 20 languages
Education Series
As of May 31, Micromedex will be phased out across Manitoba and Lexidrug will become the main source of medication reference resource for drug information, IV compatibility, medical calculators, patient education materials, and more.
