If you are ill or cannot attend your clinical shift, you must call the emergency department and ask to speak to one of the physicians. Alternatively, you can contact the physician you are working with via TigerConnect to notify them. Additionally, please inform the appropriate scheduling email and CC Dr. Katie Sullivan, Shara Werestiuk, and your program director.

If you are scheduled for a shift that overlaps protected academic time, you will be excused from your shift for the duration of the activity, but are expected to work the rest of the clinical shift.

If your residency program is using Entrada for EPAs, please continue with that format for the duration of your rotation. If your residency program does not use Entrada, a hard copy daily evaluation is required for every shift you work. This can be found in your scheduling email.
