Brian Sawatzky is the President-Elect for the Manitoba Gerontological Nursing Association (MGNA) and has been an active member since 2020. With 13 years of diverse experience in nursing, he is passionate about continued career development and recently completed his Masters of Nursing degree with a leadership focus. Brian values nursing special interest groups for their contribution to his professional development and believes they are an excellent avenue for connecting with those who have similar interests.

 Brandy Stadnyk RN, MN, CVAA(c), GNC(c)

Currently the Canadian Gerontological Nursing Association (CGNA) President-Elect and representing Manitoba on the CGNA Board of Directors, Brandy has been a long-time advocate for nursing special interest groups and ongoing professional development.  Brandy has been an active member of the Manitoba Gerontological Nursing Association (MGNA) and Canadian Vascular Access Association (CVAA) since 2014.  As a nursing graduate student, Brandy received the Graduate Specialization in Aging through the Centre on Aging at the University of Manitoba in 2017 upon completion of the Masters of Nursing Clinical stream.  In 2020, Brandy became Gerontological Nurse Certified (GNC (c)) by the Canadian Nurses Association and CVAA (c) certified in vascular access and infusion therapy.
