Course Description

This course is for physicians who want to learn, practice, and improve the skills and knowledge required
for safe and effective airway management in an emergency setting. Designed by emergency physicians,
for emergency physicians, this course blends simulation and hands-on practice to allow you to integrate
skill acquisition with clinical decision making. Skills include: bag-mask ventilation, laryngoscopy and
intubation, airway adjuncts, video laryngoscopy, and surgical airway. Principles of airway management
covered include: approach to airway management, airway pharmacology, airway anatomy and crisis
resource management.
