Quality Café: Enhancing Quality Through Structured Communication: A Human Factors Perspective

This session will explore how structured communication, informed by human factors principles, can strengthen teamwork and improve patient safety across healthcare settings. Participants will learn about common communication challenges and learn practical, evidence-informed approaches that can be applied in everyday practice. Drawing on real-world examples and successful strategies, the session will highlight communication tools that support collaboration, shared understanding, and safer patient care.
