EAP – Empowered Responses – Addressing Challenging Situations and Inappropriate Comments at Work

Many work environments involve interacting with humans, whether that is providing services for the public or interacting with colleagues and teams. Workplaces with more public interaction may experience higher instances of aggressive behaviour, inappropriate or offensive comments, and in some environments, individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis or are under the influence of substances. This session explores strategies for de-escalating challenging situations as well as supporting colleagues and clients during and after a situation occurs. Additionally, this session is tailored using scenarios from your specific work environment.
