Beyond Ambition: Global Lessons on the NHS 10 Year Health Plan
The UK Government’s Fit for the Future: 10 Year Health Plan for England sets out an ambitious vision for reform — shifting care from hospital to community, analogue to digital, and sickness to prevention. In response, IFIC has published Beyond Ambition:
Global Lessons for an Integrated NHS, bringing together international perspectives on what this vision means in practice. In this webinar, report contributors Dr Anne Hendry (Scotland), Carolyn Gullery (New Zealand), Pamela Barkhouse (Nova Scotia, Canada), Dr Kerry Kuluski (Ontario, Canada), and Ng Yeuk Fan (Singapore) will share what their own reform journeys have taught them — what works, what doesn’t, and what requires careful attention when long-term change meets real-world complexity. Drawing from their chapters, the discussion will explore:

• The risks of reform without sustained learning
• Leadership, governance and collaboration
• Digital transformation and inequality
